The hotel will organise a special ceremony to exchange vows of eternal love or renew your promises as a couple. From just the two of you to the whole family in attendance, the choice is yours!
It is so simple to organize an informal ceremony, choose the date, the venue and the details, there is no paperwork required.
Civil ceremony
The most popular type of ceremony for a wedding abroad is the civil marriage. This is performed by the mayor of the nearest town.
The certificate is legally binding around the world and has no connection to any religious faith.
Greek Orthodox Ceremony
Selected from neighbouring churches and chapels where Orthodox services can be performed. Either the bride or groom must be Greek Orthodox Church and the other baptized in the Christian faith. The ceremony is performed in Greek.
Athens also has a selection of Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Muslim and Jewish places of worship. Our wedding coordinator can assist with arrangements.
